= MULTI(MILLION)DIMENSIONAL GAMEPLAY

Once Kṛṣṇa desired to go for an early morning picnic with all His cowherd boyfriends to the forest, where they were to assemble together and take lunch. As soon as Kṛṣṇa got up from bed, He blew His buffalo-horn bugle and called all His friends together. Keeping the calves before them, they started for the forest in a great procession.

While passing through the forest, all the cowherd boys used to steal one another’s lunch bags. When a boy came to understand that his bag had been taken away, the other boys would throw it farther away, to a more distant place, and those standing there would throw it still farther. When the proprietor of the bag became disappointed, the other boys would laugh, the proprietor would cry, and then the bag would be returned.

Kṛṣṇa would, sometimes, go far away to observe the scenic beauty of the forest. The cowherd friends would, then, hold a competition as to who would touch Kṛṣṇa first.

yadi dūraṁ gataḥ kṛṣṇo vana-śobhekṣaṇāya tam
ahaṁ pūrvam ahaṁ pūrvam iti saṁspṛśya remire

Sometimes Kṛṣṇa would go to a somewhat distant place to see the beauty of the forest. Then all the other boys would run to accompany Him, each one saying, “I shall be the first to run and touch Kṛṣṇa! I shall touch Kṛṣṇa first!” In this way, they enjoyed life by repeatedly touching and embracing Kṛṣṇa.-Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.12.6

The cowherd friends are completely attached to Kṛṣṇa. They always want to be with Kṛṣṇa. They never want to be bereft of the vision of Kṛṣṇa.

May we also develop such deep love for Kṛṣṇa and, one day, be able to play with Kṛṣṇa, touch Kṛṣṇa, and embrace Kṛṣṇa.
